Michał Szpak found fame on the first series of the Polish X Factor in 2011. His debut album is titled "XI" and is released in 2011. "Byle być sobą" is the second album by Michał. He will represent Poland at the Eurovision Song Contest 2016 in Stockholm, Sweden with the song "Color of Your Life". What he said specifically to our website read here:
– Hello, Michał! Congratulations on your victory! How do you feel days after the final in Poland?
– Thank you so much. Of course, it is a great feeling to represent my own country in such an important international contest. I still feel a wonderful excitement and incredible adrenaline. It's a great emotion.
– How did you decide to take part in the national selection?
– The decision was very simple, but the national final was not an easy game. However, I managed to succeed.
– Did you expect to win?
– In general, I did not expect to win. Over the next few days, I woke up and asked myself if I still dreamed or not. Now I know it's a fact and I do realise I have to work more intensively too.
– Tell us more about your song. What is the message?
– The message is simple and so important. It is everybody's choice who we really want to be and not to be afraid of our destiny.
– Do you consider what would be your performance on the stage? Can you give us more information?
– I would love to keep it as a surprise.
– What is the color of your life?
– My life is like a rainbow. 😉
It changes colors depending on the day, but it is undoubtedly full of happy colors.
– Which famous musicians do you admire? Why?
– There are many artists who inspire me. Starting with Edith Piaf and ending with Freddie Mercury. The most important for me is charisma and true feelings on the stage. They were the masters without doubt.
– What would you like to say to your Bulgarian fans?
– I am so very pleased that you like my song "Color Of Your Life". I will do my best while performing the song in Stockholm. I will try to make you thrilled because I want to pass my emotions in this special moment.
